A bit about me...
Hi, I’m Mark, a photographer from Belfast.
My shooting style is creative, fun, relaxed and simple
Just as I live my life, it is about having fun and enjoying every moment. I am naturally a very creative person and have always enjoyed photography and creative arts. My interest in photography began all the way back in primary school, whilst I was working on the school newspaper where my role was the photographer, I borrowed my dad’s camera – from this moment I was hooked!
I studied BSc Interactive Multimedia Design at the University of Ulster and worked as a Graphic Designer while pursuing Photography as a hobby, before long I realised photography was where my passion lies and I took it up professionally.
My career started with shooting portraits and headshots then I moved into fitness photography. The wedding photography came about when a friend asked me to help him out with a wedding - there was something amazing about capturing those natural emotions and moments from the start to the end of someone’s special wedding day - I enjoyed it so much that I decided to take it up myself!
I enjoy every aspect of my career from shooting portraits in my studio to capturing someone’s special day! They are reflections of your life, personality, love, ambition, which all tell a story. What’s important to me is to capture it all.
For weddings, I know it’s an exciting time for you and I want to help you capture your day, I know a lot of people hate getting their photo taken – I know the feeling! – but I aim to stay in the background and capture those true feelings, your excitement, nerves and laughter because those are the memories that you will cherish forever.
